Cebu's festive 2010 party!

- Johnny Litton -

“The object of a new year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul.”  — G.K. Chesterton

A spectacular fireworks display lit up Cebu, the Queen City of the South, as the five-star Marco Polo Plaza in Cebu City, led by hardworking GM Hans Hauri together with lovely wife Bo, excitedly welcomed 2010 with a festive year-ender party! True to their genuine hospitality, they treated everyone to a special holiday celebration replete with excellent food, great music and a fantastic ambiance. From the luxurious Grand Ballroom to the chic Blu Bar & Grill located 1,000 feet above sea level, the hotel’s dining hotspots were filled to the brim with guests toasting to a night of merriment, cheers and friendships. Everyone was truly in a jovial mood as they listened to the captivating music of highly-acclaimed violinist Jay Cayuca and his band, and later on, danced to the lively tunes courtesy of the excellent Caliente+Brass and acoustic sensation Royal Plus Band.

What a grand Marco Polo welcome to the year 2010! Congratulations!
