A class above the rest
“Excellence always sells.” — Earl Nightingale
Alumni of Wharton-Penn, spearheaded by CATS Motors, Inc. chairman Greg Yu, president Felix Ang and Facial Care Centre and Marie-France Bodyline International, Inc. and Philippine Wharton-Penn Club president George Siy, recently gathered at the Mercedes-Benz showroom in Bonifacio Global City for a fun-filled get-together dubbed Cocktails & Classmates. The ebullient celebration gave a toast to each alumnus’ success and a toast to the current and incoming students of Wharton. If there is one thing that would unite Mercedes-Benz and Wharton-Penn Club of the Philippines, it is their passion for excellence and quality.
Cheers!
A festival of food and friendship
Just recently, the Dusit Thani Manila celebrated 60 years of Philippine-Thai Diplomatic Relations with a Filipino Food Festival as well as traditional Thai dishes at the Benjarong Royal Thai Restaurant. The launch, led by Dusit Thani Manila GM Prateek Kumar and food and beverage director Gilbert Uy, was made even more special with the presence of guest Thai chef Khunngem Anu and guests of honor Tourism Undersecretary Eduardo Jarque and the Royal Thai Embassy Ambassador Kulkumut Singhara Na Ayudhaya. The week-long celebration of close ties was truly an inspiring event for both the Philippines and Thailand alike.
Cheers!
