Designing the men of tomorrow

MANILA, Philippines - As the fashion show for SM Menswear kicked off with a Franz Ferdinand song, I had the idea that my senses would be treated to an alpha male style. After all, the show is taking place at the “Men Who Matter” event of People Asia magazine.
The collection was thoroughly splendid. Models entered the runway in shorts and suits, vests and slacks. Their styles and mien were reminiscent of some of the gorgeous men the world has known — Joel Madden, Johnny Depp, Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig.
The whole fashion show heralded the Holiday Collection from SM Menswear, including the latest line SM Max-wear.
At SM, men truly matter.
