“Beauty seen is never lost,
God’s colors all are fast.” — John Greenleaf Whittier
A great tribute was recently given to Asia’s Fashion Czar, Pitoy Moreno, when he was chosen as one of the awardees of the 2008 Gawad CCP Para sa Sining for his outstanding contributions in the field of Allied Arts (Fashion Design). Pitoy single-handedly transformed the event into a colorful celebration as he wowed the crowd with an exhibition and fashion show of his collection of Barong, Terno, Muslim, Kimona, Piña creations and evening dresses. The distinguished Gawad CCP Para sa Sining is the highest award given by the CCP to Filipino Artists and Cultural Workers.
Congratulations and Mabuhay to our future National Artist, Pitoy!
