“I know the price of success: dedication, hard work and an unremitting devotion to the things you want to see happen.” — Frank Lloyd Wright
The most in-demand and only five-star hotel in the bustling southern metro community was awash with color as The Bellevue Manila recently hosted a fabulous and remarkable Mardi Gras party in appreciation of its top corporate and banquet accounts. Dapper GM Patrick Chan, marketing and communications director Ryan Chan and director of sales and marketing Benjie Martinez, with the help of Henry Pascual, PAGCOR and Ambiance Solutions, started off the festivities by giving a complimentary overnight stay and free pampering at the spa. After which, their honorable guests were treated to an unforgettable affair of magic, delight and wonder as the luxurious Grand Ballroom was transformed into a Mardi Gras-themed carnival. The guests were more than enthralled with the booths that offered fortune-telling, face-painting and belly dancing as well as the hotel’s exquisite ambience, excellent cuisine and superb service that has become a welcome tradition only at The Bellevue.
Cheers!

Women power
Women who serve and do meaningful work also do take time off to relax or take in a lunch cum fashion show, as what these four Venuses recently did. In photo are (from left) Beng Fores — busy with her one-of-a-kind lifestyle boutique “Rambutan;” Minerva Tanseco — so occupied with cultural and heritage advancement at the FCCP (Friends for the Cultural Concerns of the Phils.); Louie Locsin — the soft touch and greatest asset of hubby Rep. Teddy Boy Locsin; and Bambi Harper — socio-civic cultural leader and director of Filipino heritage festivals.
