“Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress;
working together is success.” — Henry Ford
Taking another mile high is Ford Group Philippines as it celebrates a decade of leading adventurous driving in the country. Gathering the country’s movers and shakers in a captivating Chinese-themed evening were Ford Group Philippines president Rick Baker, VP for marketing and sales Vinay Piparsania, chief finance officer for ASEAN markets Vas Srinivasan, plant director Jason Shang, top brand honcho Glen Dasig and senior marketing executives Colo Ventosa and Tonette Lee. Guests enjoyed the exquisitely designed Gercon Penthouse of real estate developer and hotelier Gerry Contreras and were enchanted by Chinese and Broadway songs from Chinese opera singer Elaine Lee.
As a ceremonial honor, Consul Mellie Ablaza of Guatemala and dapper Consul of Zambia Louie Ablaza along with lovely couple Mike and Cecile Varela were given service vouchers for testifying to the exceptional driving standards of Ford. The evening was capped with an exquisite banquet of Chinese dimsum, Peking duck, lobsters, prawns, desserts paired with exquisite wines from BestWorld Beverage Brands. Winners of the exciting icebreaker game were each given premium items while everyone went home with framed artworks of Ford Eddie Bauer variants, the Explorer and Expedition, as giveaways.
Congratulations to Ford!
