"Adopt the pace of nature; her secret is patience." Ralph Waldo Emerson
It was another year of two nations friendship as the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic ties between the Philippines and Japan and Philippine-Japan friendship was highlighted by a gala dinner at the Kiku Ballroom of the Hilton Tokyo. Their Imperial Highnesses Prince and Princess Hitachi graced the commemorative event. Hardworking Philippine Ambassador to Japan Domingo Siazon Jr. and his lovely wife Kay, and Tourism Secretary Joseph Durano hosted the splendid reception, which was attended by 200 guests from the business, academic and diplomatic communities. Ambassador Siazon has done the Philippines proud with his diplomatic skills backed by decades of experience, dedication and hard work! The celebration captured the Filipino festive spirit as the guests enjoyed exquisite Filipino cuisine and were entertained by Filipino and Japanese talents.
A toast to many more years of friendship between our two countries!
The Love 14 Foundation, an organization that helps uplift the country by supporting scholars and donating to public schools, has announced the newest batch of Manilas Five Loveliest. At a dinner hosted by Love 14 president Chacha Camacho and chair Nini Licaros, a bevy of young beauties composed of Charisse Abalos, Jill Bunaguen, Chinna Juban, Ysa Villar and Mila Zamora was presented to the organizations trustees and supporters.
