"My friends are my estate." Emily Dickinson
Out of the goodness of her heart, lawyer Lulu Tesoro-Castañeda a lovely and gifted belle, valedictorian and top student leader with five gold medals recently organized an intimate fundraising party at her elegant abode in Dasmariñas Village, Makati. Lulu was in fine form as she gave a riveting performance of her favorite songs that was well received by her guests, composed of family and close friends from Santuario de San Antonio parish, her Ateneo College of Law classmates, Friends for Cultural Concern of the Philippines and the Catholic Womens Club.
World-class artists Nena del Rosario- Villanueva and Camille Lopez-Molina also performed that evening to the delight of all those present. The recipients of Lulus generosity were some of her favorite people: Fr. Larry Tan, SDB, director of the Salesian Missions; Fr. James Reuter, S.J.; and Sister Anunciata Sta. Ana, SPC, dean of the Conservatory of Music and the Performing Arts of St. Paul College Manila.
A truly wonderful time was had by all!
