A heritage of tranquility

"Art, as far as it has the ability, follows nature, as a pupil imitates his master, so that art must be, as it were, a descendant of God." Dante Alighieri
It was a remarkable evening at the Heritage Park, the countrys most innovative memorial park, for the unveiling of masterpieces from one of the leading art groups in the scene today the Guevarra Group of Artists and special friends. The art exhibit was aptly entitled Images of Tranquility, as over 25 artists of different techniques and approaches were inspired to do major works by the beauty of the park the verdant rolling terrain, lovely pocket gardens, interesting rock formations and picturesque man-made lagoons.
Hardworking Rosehills Memorial Management (Phils.) Inc. chairman and president Jack Kidwiler, Heritage Park VP for operations Emir Tubayan and VP for sales and marketing Raquel Mendoza welcomed the guests, composed of societys crème de la crème, stylish friends Consul Helen Ong, Mabel Abano, Tereret Liboro and Nini Licaros. Even with the glamorous guest list, the stars of the night were the magnificent yet affordable paintings that took everyones breath away many of the artworks were sold on the spot! Topping off the evening was a raffle of Gazebo, a major oil painting of Aldrino Abes, which was won by the very lucky Alice Briones. The exhibit runs until end of November.
I commend Heritage Park for supporting the arts!
Fairways and Bluewater Resort Golf & Country Club chairman Noel "Toti" Cariño celebrates his birthday today after the successful sixth Fairways & Bluewater Chairmans Cup at the world-class, 18-hole par 72 championship and luxury golf course in Newcoast, Boracay.
