A taste of Arabia

"The sun illuminates only the eye of man, but shines into the eye and heart of the child." – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Azi Ablaza Syquia
celebrated his first birthday party at the Manila Polo Club in style – an "Arabian Nights" themed celebration. Azi, along with his loving parents, Jofe and Cristina, and his brothers Alfonso and Agu, were all dressed in Arabian costumes especially designed by godfather Ben Farrales.

The Arabian mystique permeated the evening as Moroccan lamps, Persian carpets, a hand-painted backdrop of an Arabian palace and even a belly-dancing number set the mood. Proud grandparents Louie and Mellie Ablaza were seen partying with their grandchildren while family and friends joined in the fun as they paraded around in their own costumes. It was truly a memorable celebration!

Happy first birthday, Azi!
