Straight From The Heart
Matters of the heart should never be taken lightly, especially when it comes to preventing heart disease and learning how to take better care of one’s health.

That was the inspiration for the Fifth Annual Convention on Preventive Cardiology that was held at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium of the RCBC Plaza. Chairman Jose Concepcion and president Dr. Adolfo Bellosillo, the moving spirits behind the Foundation for Lay Education on Heart Diseases, Inc. (FLEHD), awarded club membership and certificates of appreciation to 18 pharmaceutical companies which have helped the foundation to spread awareness on preventive cardiology over the last five years. Chairman’s Club membership was awarded to Pfizer and President’s Club membership was given to AstraZeneca, Merck, Abbott, Sanofi Aventis, Therapharma and Boerhinger Ingelheim. The Trustees Club awardees included Roche, Glaxo Smith Kline, Metropolitan Pharma, Servier, Hi-Eisai, Cardiodynamics, Medical One, Pascual Laboratories, Natrapharma, Novartis and Boots.

Congratulations to all the awardees!
