Happy Mothers Day!
Mardi Gras in Alabang? Youd better believe it! The Palms Country Club, Alabangs ultimate leisure destination, had all of the glitter, excitement and ambiance of an authentic New Orleans street party outrageous masks and colorful beads for members and guests, and even wrought iron gates and street lamp posts. The event was presented along with Smart Gold.
Throughout the evening, people were moving and swaying to the music as blues and rock bands Huka and The Jerks played alternately. The festive mood was infectious as everyone feasted on the merriment and glee of the superb party. And the talk about the food! The New Orleans buffet was a literal smorgasbord of culinary delights, with over 40 delicious hot and cold dishes, soups, barbecues and desserts.
See you at the next Palms party!
The Philippines and the Peoples Republic of China boosted economic cooperation with agreements worth more than $1.5 billion signed during the state visit of Chinese President Hu Jintao. During the state banquet held at the Malacañang Ceremonial Hall, President Hu was seen greeting Dante Go, president emeritus of the Chinese Filipino Business Club (CFBC).
This Mothers Day, give mom all the pampering she deserves. Start a great family tradition and treat her to a fabulous buffet at The Palms Country Club. At the Café Asiana, the buffet is priced at P685 for adults and P342 for children; at Nishijin, P888 for adults and P438 for children; and at The Continental, it is priced at P500.
