A thrill for the children
April 17, 2005 | 12:00am
"Behold the child, by natures kindly law, pleased with a rattle, tickled with a straw."Alexander Pope
It was an exciting Easter extravaganza at the ultimate luxurious club, The Palms Country Club. Children of all shapes and sizes came to revel in the myriad of activities and games that The Palms had in store for them. First came the Easter Egg Hunt, where the kids screamed with delight as they raced to find as many eggs as they could. Five winners won a live rabbit each from Bio Research and other prizes from The Palms.
Then the games started, with lively Carla del Rosario and Apollo Abraham hosting the program. A! Live Entertainment, a four-member singing group, performed a 30-minute set using different genres, which entertained the young audience immensely. As if all these werent enough, there was a face painting booth, a tattoo artist and even a petting zoo containing a crocodile, parrots, pythons, geckos, and a goat.
Congratulations for such a spectacular event!
