Style ID: Dress to impress
November 7, 2004 | 12:00am
When a woman goes out on a date, the first thing that comes to her mind is, "What in the world will I wear?" Does this sound familiar to you? Do you spend hours rummaging through your closet deciding whether you will wear a Vivenne Tam dress tonight or just an American Apparel tee and your Seven jeans? Then you probably think, "Should I look sexy and glam? No! Sweet and demure? Thats probably too pretentious!"
It is said that the first impression lasts, so what you wear on your first date could actually lead to either a fairy tale or a horror story. Many guys base their impression of you on what kind of clothes you choose, how you carry them and of course, what goes on during your date.
Since every woman has this dilemma, I decided to interview a few beautiful women (those who have been asked out on dates for probably a million times already) and see what they wear and apply on their faces and bodies to be attractive.
Anna would strike you as someone very innocent and young. However, this former STAR Face of the Year winner is no longer a baby. She rarely has time to wear haute couture like she used to as she is mostly seen in her white uniform (shes a fourth year medical student at the University of Sto. Tomas). Anna is always looking fresh and neat, looking her best no matter where she is. Her choice of clothes includes feminine prints, lavish embellishments, and textured fabrics. Her style has a bit of mystery, never revealing too much of herself which keeps men knocking on her door.

Must-haves
1. Creed spring flower and Tarte in Tickled Peach
2. Shoes from Solea
3. Shiseido bronzer and lipgloss
4. Issey Miyake Cologne
5. Shu Uemura Shadow and eyelash curler
Pat reminds me of Cinderella and Snow White combined. This girl is a romantic at heart and would love to be wined and dined by her knight in shining armor. She is conservative in the choice of her clothes and does not adhere much to trends, loud colors or revealing cuts. Her pretty face and good skin are her assets so she need not dress up extravagantly and call much attention to her body. Though she looks reserved and fragile, this woman should not be underestimated. Shes just one of those ladies who have the power to charm the guy she wants with her sweet Mona Lisa smile.

3. Shoes from Solea

I wouldnt be surprised if guys would be intimidated the first time they see Aimee. Her confidence and striking looks can make any man feel uncomfortable. However, she proves that looks can be deceiving. She actually is warm and unassuming once you get to talk to her. Her style is never predictable, and chooses clothes depending on her mood. In fact, she sometimes tears up her own dresses and reinvents them into stylish pieces. Her wardrobe consists of black satin dresses, funky deconstructed tops, minis, and conspicuous accessories. This no-nonsense woman appears to have no style formula when it comes to attracting men, she can look just as fabulous whatever she chooses to wear.

Bianca is a very free-spirited woman. Her being a model helped her become comfortable with her body, not having any qualms with wearing low necklines or see-through fabrics. Thats just how it is when youre born with a figure like hers. She no longer needs to make an effort to look sexy and can snag the man she wants and she already did! This girl is full of wit and humor (she also hosts for Studio 23s Wazzup! Wazzup!) and likes to add a bit of fun in her closet, having her Mickey Mouse tee (also seen worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City) as one of her favorites.
