Star Dream Girl: Sabrina Melanie Mesina

Girl-next-door Sabrina Melanie Mesina is a statuesque 17-year-old. Half-American, half-Filipino, she is a home study senior high school student. This 5’6"-tall beauty wants to take up Marine Biology because she is "fascinated by underwater life and I want to explore the beauty in it."

Sabrina, the daughter of Dan Mesina and Isabel Kleeberg, is into watersports like scuba diving. She is also into rock climbing and painting. "The latter is my way of expressing things inside me which I can’t in words. That’s why instead of doing other things like watching TV, I’d rather express the artist in me."

Sabrina describes herself as "street smart, well-rounded and independent," qualities she says she owes to her parents. "I’m the type of person who wants to get things in my own way," she explains. "I’m also very resourceful. I don’t want to waste my time."

Being adventurous and having lived abroad most of her life, Sabrina loves to travel, especially to European countries.

Sabrina believes that, "Though others’ opinion also counts in making decisions, it should not affect how we see ourselves and the way we view things." –Jerry Donato
