A Bb. Pilipinas 2001 finalist and also the recipient of the Ms. Congeniality award, 5 ft. 6 in. Angela does ramp, print ad and TV commercials.
"Modeling is my top priority," begins Angela. "I wish to make it in the international (modeling) scene. But before this I want to do modeling in the (Asian) region, countries like Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia."
Being a model for five years, Angela has learned and mustered the "dos" and "donts" or the "whats hot" and "whats cold" in the industry.
"As a model, I improve on a daily basis," says Angela. "I should discipline myself by going to the gym to work out. I update my clothes and styles so they will look great on me. I also market myself by sending my portfolios and creating a website."
Just like supermodels and mannequins Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer and Aleck Wek, Angela must work on her "it" factor, creating a recall to the public and agents as well.
"I think its my look," says Angela, the daughter of businessman Ding Silverio and the former Nani Sehwani, a real estate broker. "Im like a chameleon. My look changes with different poses, shoots and pictures. I do not look the same. My exotic look is my edge."
Angela, who loves traveling, belly dancing and scuba diving, loves art. "Im very creative. I like making simple things to great ones."
Angela believes, "I think theres not much difference. Both cultures are conservative, religious and respectful of their heritage and traditions." Jerry Donato
