When best friends tie the knot

A most unforgettable wedding welcomed 2004 when Mark Philip Peralta and Michelle Reyes Mendoza finally tied the knot last Jan. 3 at Mary the Queen Parish in Greenhills.
Mark was cool and composed until he saw Michelle walk down the aisle and he broke into tears. Marks tears reflected his happiness because he had waited seven years and endured four postponements before his altar date with Michelle. Meanwhile, guests were teary-eyed as they witnessed this most touching scene.
Michelle beamed with happiness in her silky white gown with a 23-foot embroidered train designed by Evangeline Santos-Lacson. She then changed into a Filipiniana-inspired light gold gown with an embroidered floor length piña shawl for the reception.
The splendid reception, coordinated by the famed event director Marex Gaba, was held at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel where the 300 guests were treated to free-flowing drinks during the cocktail hour and sumptuous dinner buffet of the hotels specialties.
After dinner, the beverage bar was opened as most guests stayed all night, partying, singing with the band and drinking to their hearts content.
To cap the seemingly never-ending night, guests raised their glasses to the newlyweds and wished them a happy life together.
Greetings
Happy birthday to our celebrators today, Lito Tulod, my favorite doktora Vicki Belo and porcelain beauty Yoli Ayson.
