The toast of Alabang
January 11, 2004 | 12:00am
Anyone who wants a taste of the action will definitely find it in Alabangs bustling business district where The Bellevue Hotel stands tall and proud. This full-service business and leisure hotel has earned the reputation not only of being Alabangs spankiest social and business hub, but a fitting venue for international events as well.
The world-class hotel joins Philippine Rotary Clubs in hosting the prestigious 2007 International Golfing Fellowship Tournament in the country. The major international event will be held for the first time in 44 years in an ASEAN country and will gather up to 400 Rotarian participants and their families from around the world.
The Bellevue Hotel was chosen by the Rotary Golfing Fellowship Foundation of the Philippines to be the official residence of the international delegates. Because of its reputation as an ideal retreat for avid golfers and their families and its proximity to leading golf courses, Alabangs premier business hotel was selected from a host of other hotels.
Top Bellevue executives and leading figures of Rotary Philippines recently celebrated this well-deserved victory with a cocktail party at the hotels entertainment center at its rooftop, the 20/20. It was a most joyful gathering where Rotarys golfers and non-golfers alike expressed their excitement and enthusiasm!
Good luck and congratulations!
We salute the staff and crew of Asian Spirit in Caticlan for their outstanding service during my recent trip to Boracay. They were exceptional in facilitating the transportation of the guests in the recently concluded Fairways & Bluewater Chairmans Cup.
Way to go!
One of our very own Filipinas is making a big splash in Japan. Charo Ireton, the jet-setting and supportive wife of Warner Entertainment Japan chairman Bill Ireton, was spotted rubbing shoulders with the cast and crew of the hit movies, The Last Samurai and The Matrix Revolutions.
The beautiful Charo, her dashing husband Bill and their lovely daughter Roberta entertained big-shot actors such as Tom Cruise and Jada Pinkett-Smith, the wife of actor Will Smith.
Charo, you make us proud!
Happy birthday to our celebrator today, Paz Tanjangco.
Advance birthday greetings to Jayelles Holdings (Phils.) Inc. vice president Allan Litton and Gen. Ismael Villareal, Jan. 12; MODs big boss Cynthia Santiago and Conrad Calalang, Jan. 13; lovely Che Singson, Dingdong Eduque, Archie King and Jun Kintanar, Jan. 14; FCCPs Nena Casimiro, Kathy Santiago-Litton and Tony Leviste, Jan. 15; Minnie Osmeña, Hilda Koronel, Sen. Sonny Osmeña, Ronnie Salonga and Minnesota-based Dinah del Rosario-Filart, Jan. 17.
So, how was your week?
