STAR dream Girl: Katherine Marie Tan

Twenty-year-old Katherine Marie "Cathy" Tan is a senior Business Administration student majoring in Computer Applications at the DLSU-College of St. Benilde-Taft, Manila.

The 5’4"-tall Cathy, a consistent honor student, is the daughter of supervisor Francisco Tan and the former Fe Macabasco, a public relations officer. She hopes to hone her skills by earning an MBA in one of the best schools in the US. Then she would like to put up her own fashion boutique.

Cathy is dead serious about her studies. "Education leads to something bigger in the future," she believes. "I have to value it. (Just like in business) as a student, I have to be hardworking and devote quality time to become successful."

Cathy, who enjoys cheer dancing and tae-bo, ends, "A STAR Dream Girl is determined and passionate in whatever she does." –Jerry Donato
