Bliss at last
November 16, 2003 | 12:00am
"Love may not make the world go round, but I must admit that it makes the ride worthwhile." Sean Connery
Another couple has tread on the path of wedded bliss. Ed Tulod and Blez Buenaventura, a very fine couple if I may say so myself, finally tie the knot and spend the rest of their life together.
The couple wed at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Intramuros. The couples loved ones were in full attendance. The grooms parents, Eduardo and Natalie Tulod, and the brides parents, Ramiro and Emma Buenaventura, beamed as they witnessed the holy ceremony.
The wedding sponsors were lawyer Ericio Arcilla, Florito Maniego, Ador Mañosca, Renato Almeda, Arturo Buenaventura, Nelson Calimoso, Jose Alcabasa Jr., Carlito Tulod, Dr. Ma.Virginia Decangchon, Mayora Nila Aguila, Olivia Tan, Isabelita Villanueva, Carmen Cruz, Ma. Lourdes Rabato,Veronica Elazegui, and Rita Claire Tambunting-Dabu.
Catherine Bejar was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Alelie Legaspi and Carlota Nobie. The best man was Richard Caraan, the groomsmen Yancey Duane Velasquez and Luigi Domingo.
After the ceremony and the usual picture-taking sessions at the church, guests proceeded to the Hyatt Regency Hotel for the reception. Fine food and a good time were had by all, and the days activities culminated in everyone, your author included, wishing the joyous couple a happily wedded life.
Happy honeymoon, Ed and Blez!
