His dear friends through the lush luau for the society chronicler. The venue was dressed to the nines in true Hawaiian flavor courtesy of Junjun Ablazas creative prowess. Restys friends did more than attend the party in all their colorful, flowery glory. They prepared special Hawaiian dances to perk up the celebration. And what a sight it was! All that was needed was a beach! The lavish food preparations included lechon, ice cream, salads, pastries and wines flown in from Ibiza, Spain.
Special guests included former First Lady Imelda Marcos who garlanded the cheerful celebrator with a lei of sampaguitas. Also seen in Hawaiian frolic were Parañaque Rep. Cynthia Villar; Dr. Elenita Binay; Consul Melly Ablaza; Letty Syquia; former Quezon City Mayor Mel Mathay; Vilma Valera; Justa Tantoco; designer par excellence Pitoy Moreno; Edith Rabat; Chit Salud; Tereret Liboro; and Wilson Tieng, among others.
More birthdays to come, Resty!
Prior to writing this article, I made it a point to fly on Asian Spirit to some of its destinations. I was pleasantly surprised by the efficient and courteous service from check-in to actual inflight service. It made flying pleasant and comfortable, especially when it came to mingling with pretty stewardesses who certainly made me feel so relaxed I didnt want to get off the plane!
Kudos to Asian Spirit! Keep it up!
