Make it a romantic Christmas

BETWEEN YOU & ME - BETWEEN YOU & ME By Jacquilou Blanco -
How can one enjoy a romantic Christmas with a loved one?

Let me count the ways...
For Married Couples
• Put up the Christmas tree together.

• Plan the noche buena menu together.

• Have a pre-Christmas dinner–just the two of you–so you can spend time alone together.

• Reminisce on your past Christmases and promise to make this year even a better one.

• Give her or him something you have never given before. It can even be something crazy.

• Plan to give each other something everyday, weeks before Christmas. It doesn’t have to cost much. It can be small notes or anything to just remind each other of your mutual love.

• Have dinner in the place where you first ate when you were newly married.
For Sweethearts
• Attend misa de gallo together.

• Shop for your mutual friends together.

• If one knows how to cook, instead of eating out, he or she can prepare dinner for the other. It will definitely be more special.

• Get a small Christmas tree you can decorate together. Decorate it with ornaments or things special to you.

• If you like to write, you can compose a poem or just write a letter to him or her saying how special this Christmas will be because you’re together.

• Wear something similar on Christmas day. It could be a shirt of the same color or a similar get-up.

What really matters is that you go out of your way to do things for each other. You don’t have to buy expensive gifts. You can even give each other just more love this Christmas. Give from your heart. Say how you feel. Remember that Christmas is really spelled L-O-V-E. God gave us His only son Jesus Christ and He is LOVE.

May you all have a Blessed Christmas!
