Located along Makatis busy Don Chino Roces Avenue, the countrys largest fully air-conditioned hardware was transformed into a cool and brightly lit indoor cocktail venue. The night began with the blessing of the 4,000-square meter store. This was followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremonies led by architects Willie Yu, Robert Sac, Domingo Chua and Roger Villarosa and interior designers, sisters Ivy and Cynthia Almario, to name a few.
The party emceed by yours truly also honored famed designers Cynthia and Ivy Almario of the Atelier-Almario Architects and Designers Corp. The duo is said to take charge in the complete renovation and design of the newly-acquired 12,000-square meter property just right beside the existing Federal Hardware-Makati branch which will be transformed into Federal Design Expo.
The nights main event was a preview of Federal Hardwares plans for the upcoming year. Company president Jeffrey Ng in his brief introductory speech enthusiastically announced Federal Hardwares plans to open 12 new branches in 2003. Following his speech, renowned interior designer Ivy Almario announced future plans for the Federal Design Expo and gave a short presentation of what shoppers can soon expect from Federals latest addition to convenient total hardware shopping experience.
As elaborated by Ivy Almario in her speech, Federal Design Expo will complete the needs of anyone who is into the building or renovation of their homes through the inclusion of tasteful furniture and home accessories which can only be found at the Design Expo. The Federal Design Expo will open its doors and serve the public by next year.

Moise regaled guests with his inimitable style. In a surprise appearance, the Loboc Childrens Choir brought in by esteemed Bohol Gov. Erico Aumentado entranced the crowd.
