A shining partnership

Jewelmer, the country’s pride in South Sea pearls, and Ballet Manila, the nation’s premier classical ballet company, celebrated a union of elegance, artistry, and discipline through the former’s latest film, Of the Sea and Stage.

Marking Ballet Manila’s dazzling Pearl Year on its 30th anniversary, the season opened with the world premiere of Pearls, where graceful dancers shimmered in Jewelmer’s fine jewelry creations.

Ballet Manila artistic director and CEO Lisa Macuja-Elizalde likens every dancer to a pearl – cultivated with patience and passion, each shining uniquely on stage. The celebration culminates with the timeless Don Quixote at the Aliw Theater in Pasay City.

The always lovely Agile Zamora hosted a fabulous birthday dinner for her dear friend Roberto “Bobby” Alvarez Jr. at the elegant Sage Grill in Makati Shangri-La, Manila in Makati City.
