The Johann Strauss Society of the Philippines (JSSP), under the tandem leadership of chairman Consul General of Monaco Dr. Fortune Ledesma and president Olga Severino Martel, held an unforgettable holiday party at the lovely residence of ever-gracious couple Eddie and Dellie Yap in Makati City.

Under the helm of event chairman Marissa Fenton, the event was filled with fun, several raffle draws, and a delightful dinner.

Guests were enthralled by a musical program featuring piano virtuoso Dr. Raul Sunico and renowned soprano Rachelle Gerodias, who performed alongside her husband, Korean baritone Byeong In Park.

In addition, talented JSSP member Jianping Xue also performed a song from the famous musical The Sound of Music as well as a Chinese folk song.

It was truly a night that showcased the perfect blend of camaraderie and celebration.

The ever-gracious Imelda Menguito hosted a delightful gathering at the chic Corso Como store, with Marissa Fenton, founder and chair of the Ladies and Gentlemen Group.

Guests indulged in an evening of camaraderie, lively games, and thrilling raffle draws all while savoring an exquisite spread of food and drinks. The event was filled with laughter and meaningful conversations that left everyone in high spirits. It was truly a night of elegance and fun, celebrating friendship and shared moments in a setting as stylish as its attendees.

Celebrating One's roots

The Kannadiwan Foundation Inc. (KFI) is celebrating its 31st anniversary with a grand gala and dinner dance on Jan. 26, 5:30 p.m. at the Fiesta Pavilion of the iconic The Manila Hotel in Ermita, Manila.

With the theme “Karayan A Pagbiagan…Aywanan! (Care for our Rivers: The Wellspring of Life),” the evening will dazzle guests with an exquisite Abel Iloco fashion show featuring creations by designers Albert Figueras, Toni Galang, and Renee Salud alongside Ilocos Norte’s finest designers Amor Albano and Allen Ceniza Repana. Under the artistic direction of Raymond Villanueva, the event will support KFI’s vital initiatives in education, heritage preservation, and environmental advocacy.
