Dr. Aivee’s star-studded birthday bash
Despite the strong rains, we were star-struck during the recent birthday celebration of charming Dr. Aivee Aguilar Teo at the Back Room with the stunning and good-looking actors of today filling the snazzy bar.
This multi-awarded and sought-after doctor has had many feathers in her cap, setting standards for excellence in beauty and skincare with her vast range of advanced dermatological treatments. Not many know that she is involved in a variety of charitable projects with her regular medical missions.
Asked how Aivee runs her busy medical practice in Manila and Singapore with her supportive husband Dr. Z Teo, she enthused, “We recently flew back to Singapore to celebrate Z’s parents’ 50th anniversary. We booked the same restaurant where Z brought me 22 years ago when I first met his parents and we took an exact photo of what we took 22 years ago. Seeing how we are 22 years later and comparing photos was so heartwarming. I am glad I didn’t age too much, all thanks to the Aivee clinic!”
THE PHILIPPINE STAR: What are you thankful for these past years?
DR. AIVEE TEO: These past few years, I am really thankful for the gift of family, good health and a solid marriage. My beautiful kids are a source of constant joy for me. Watching them blossom to responsible teenagers, balancing their time studying and having an active social life makes me a very proud mom. In my career as a dermatologist, I am thankful for the trust of the thousands of patients that have come through the doors of the Aivee clinic. The Lord has truly blessed me a thousandfold and am always grateful to Him for His grace.
What are you looking forward to?
I am looking forward to spending more time with the kids as they start to prepare for college. I am also excited for the new beginnings of the Aivee Group that will be coming up in the few months. It’s going to be exciting!
As I turned to Dr. Z, I could see the love and pride in his eyes with his endearing message, “From the day I set my eyes on you, you have always been the special one. When we decided to throw caution to the wind and be together despite our geographical and cultural differences, we had only one laser focus, which was to be together no matter what obstacles came our way. Well, fast forward 20 years and here we are with three beautiful kids and a vibrant Aivee company that we have built painstakingly from scratch 15 years ago. And this is largely due to you. You are the thread that stitches the family together, the engine that drives the company forward, and the heart that makes the marriage beat in sync together.”
