A starry night at the Oppo Reno 10 launch
There are events where I can’t help but be amazed by the presentations. Such was the recent Oppo Reno10 Series 5G launch. From the opening spiel to the after-party, I was kept in anticipation by all the wonderful happenings that evening.

Oppo Philippines hosted an unforgettable gala at the Manila Hotel, where guests had a unique opportunity to go back in time and experience the Reno series through the years. Not to be missed was a peek into the latest innovations in mobile photography through the Reno Portrait Gallery.
The brand took the opportunity to unveil its Reno League: a roster of celebrities who now represent Oppo Philippines. These include professional volleyball player Vanie Gandler, model and content creator EJ Nacion, lifestyle content creators and longtime Reno Series ambassadors Rei Germar, David Guison and Laureen Uy, celebrity photographer and longtime Oppo ambassador Magic Liwanag, another professional photographer, Mark Nicdao, actor-entrepreneur David Licauco, actress-singer-entrepreneur, Nadine Lustre, and actress-entrepreneur-content creator Bea Alonzo.

I kept my focus on the main star of the night, the Oppo Reno10 Series 5G, because it is truly a spectacular mobile phone. From its stylish looks (it looks great in your hand) to the most innovative (to date) smartphone features, it's a stunner.
Here are the stats: The Oppo Reno10 5G and Oppo Reno10 Pro 5G are light and easy to hold with their Ultra Slim Body design. They feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED 3D Curved Screen for a more sleek display. Better yet, the Oppo Reno10 5G is available in two scratch-resistant and fingerprint-resistant finishes, Ice Blue and Silvery Gray; while the Oppo Reno10 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno10 Pro+ 5G will come in a stylish Glossy Purple and a sleek Silvery Gray.

Power in performance
The Oppo Reno10 5G is fitted with a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G mobile platform, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, plus support for additional storage through the SD card expansion slot.
The Oppo Reno10 Pro 5G is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G Mobile Platform. Built on 6nm process technology, the octa-core SoC delivers a great balance between powerful performance and reduced-power consumption. Using Oppo’s RAM Expansion technology, Reno10 Pro 5G can temporarily convert unused ROM space into as much as 8GB of additional RAM, on top of the 12GB RAM it comes with and up to 256GB ROM, to ensure a continually smooth experience even under heavy usage.
The Reno10 Pro+ 5G boasts the flagship-level Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform. It was indeed a star-filled night. For me, the biggest among them was the Oppo Reno10: not only was I able to hold the Oppo Reno10, in all its variants in my hand, take a few shots and get a feel of how quick and efficient its functions are — I was able to snap a few star celebrities for my bank.
