The city’s crème de la crème gathered to celebrate the joint birthdays of two remarkable ladies who are also excellent businesswomen: the industrious Rotarian Mache Torres and the reliable Suraj International’s Shilpa Tolani.
The venue of choice for this grand affair was none other than the chic and trendy Pardon My French restaurant in Makati City, where every detail was meticulously curated, including the delicious choice menu for dinner specially crafted by the chef to ensure an unforgettable experience.
The charismatic duo, with their devoted husbands David Ackerman and Raj Tolani by their side, were showered with good wishes and heartfelt praises throughout the evening. Everyone had a fantastic time dancing all night after the sumptuous dinner.

Amid an atmosphere brimming with love and joy, Benny and Nona Ricafort’s 60th wedding anniversary celebration unfolded as a testament to their enduring bond.
As the couple reveled in the festivities, their hearts overflowed with gratitude for the faithfulness, blessings, and guidance bestowed upon them by the Almighty. Benny and Nona extended their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all who graced their special occasion.
The celebration commenced with a soul-stirring thanksgiving and renewal-of-vows mass held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapel, followed by a cocktail reception at the Ricafort residence, and dinner at the Banquet Hall of Valle Verde 4 Clubhouse, all in Pasig City. Laughter, clinking glasses, dancing, and a feast fit for royalty lasted until one in the morning the next day.
The couple’s anniversary celebration served as a poignant reminder of past blessings while ushering in a future adorned with new challenges as they embark on the joyous role of great-grandparents. Benny and Nona eagerly anticipate the day they can once again gather with family and friends to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary.
