A birthday lunch for a dear friend
Statuesque and elegant Edna Lhuillier, wife of business tycoon and Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain Philippe Lhuillier, hosted a sumptuous lunch for good friend Marieliese Evaristo at their fabulous residence.
Edna is known for her culinary expertise honed through years of diplomatic experiences as spouse of an ambassador.
The hostess served an array of delicious dishes such as lumpiang Shanghai, Parmesan cheese canapé, chicken empanada, and different kinds of salami and cheese for starters. These were followed by quiche Lorraine with salad and fettuccine seafood with black ink. For the mains, guests feasted on duck confit with glazed apples and veggies. A homemade chocolate cake, leche flan and buko pandan capped the delicious meal, palanggas.
Guests were Connie Garcia, Nini Licaros, Monette Guevara, Monte Carlo-based Tetta Agustin, Malyn Syjuco Santos, Baby Yulo, Lorna Hizon, Chit Salud, Alice Samson, Roi Philips, jewelry designer Carlo Evaristo and Fe Rodriguez.
