MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Tourism recently recognized Israeli vlogger “Nas Daily,” whose real name is Nuseir Yassin, for promoting the Philippines in his videos.

During a "Philippine Night" event at the sidelines of the 2019 International Mediterranean Tourism Market in Israel, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat gave Nas Daily a certificate and plaque of recognition.

Nas Daily, known for his one-minute videos daily, considered the Philippines “a country he loves the most.” He recently started creating longer videos.

The content creator currently has over 12 million followers and reaping an average of three million views per videos.

In June 2017, Nas Daily created a US $100-worth tourism video for the Philippines in light of DOT’s controversial “Experience the Philippines” video titled “Sights” which was allegedly copied from a South African tourism video.
