Bicol's finest featured during the 5th Leg of Kasalang Filipino 2009
MANILA, Philippines – Bicol’s finest wedding suppliers showcased their products and services during the recent Magayon Wedding Festival held at the Pepperland Hotel in Legaspi City, Albay.
The wedding fair and exhibit featured demonstrations on flower arrangement (florist and wedding specialist Jeff Bergancia), wedding planning (event planner and coordinator Maybelle Miraflor-Azul, Bei Eventi Planners & Coordinators), baking and cake decoration (fondant expert Renan Yulo of Round and Squares Pastries) and table napkin folding (Pepperland Hotel). A bridal fashion show (Anthony Fortuno of Fashion Literacy) and bridal make-up competition capped the two-day event.
Meanwhile, representatives from the National Statistics Office and local Civil Registry Office also accommodated inquiries of soon-to-wed couples and participants. Couples who attended the event received free gift pack and gift certificates courtesy of the event sponsors.
The wedding festival was attended by Albay congressman Al Francis Bichara, Albay 1st District board member Glenda Bongao, Legazpi City mayor Noel Rosa, and Pacific Mall manager Ms. Cecille Gamboa.
Magayon Wedding Festival is part of Kasalang Filipino 2009, a nationwide wedding roadshow, which ties the cities of San Pablo, Tagaytay, Tarlac, Dagupan, Legazpi, Dumaguete, General Santos, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Bacolod, Manila, and Cebu to promote the local wedding industry.
