Insular Life celebrates 98th anniversary
Insular Life marks 98 years of unwavering service and dedication to the Filipino people as an institution and industry leader.
The anniversary celebration opened yesterday, Nov. 24 with the Insular Life Archives Exhibit. Today, a Thanksgiving Mass at 7:30 a.m. will be offered at the ILCC auditorium with Fr. Romel Ermita as celebrant and at the IL Makati multi-purpose hall with Fr. Cris Magbitang officiating.
After the Mass, employees will have simultaneous breakfast at the ILCC 5th floor cafeteria and IL Makati multi-purpose hall. Tuloy sa Don Bosco children will serenade the employees with Christmas carols.
On Wednesday, Nov. 26, the company’s retirees will go down memory lane and relive the best IL memories as they are treated to a special luncheon at the IL multi-purpose hall. Storybooks gathered in the name of the retirees will be donated to the children of the Educational Research and Development Assistance (ERDA).
On Thursday, Nov. 27, the spotlight is on employees who have been loyal to Insular Life as they receive the Employee Service Awards. Iloilo District Office’s Ana Te, who has been with the company for 40 years, leads this year’s 97 other awardees.
Employees participate in “Save a Life” by donating blood at the two-day annual blood donation program in cooperation with the Philippine National Red Cross on Nov. 27 at IL Makati and on Nov. 28 at ILCC auditorium foyer from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
An exhibit is ongoing at the ILCC auditorium foyer and will be brought to the IL multi-purpose hall on Nov. 26-28.
Insular Life Foundation’s pioneering program, the Gold Eagle Award, a nationwide high school incentive and college scholarship program, will be relaunched at the IL Makati multi-purpose hall. Past scholars will fly back home and celebrate the relaunch with invited guests.
