MANILA, Philippines — Fans of Girls' Generation (SNSD) took to Twitter on August 20 to express their overwhelming gratitude after seeing all eight members on stage at the grand SMTown Concert held at Suwon City Stadium in South Korea.

Dubbed as the "Nation's Girl Group" in Korea, Girls' Generation performed their comeback single, "Forever 1," with Hyoyeon and Sooyoung seen crying after the performance. They were joined by Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Yuri, YoonA, and Seohyun. The group is also known as SNSD or SoShi, which are the abbreviated forms of its Korean language name.

"Forever 1" also marks the group's 15th anniversary since they debuted in August 2007. It was released in early August this year.

It has been awhile for the ladies to perform onstage with some of them busy with their acting careers. Tiffany, Sooyoung and Seohyun left SM Entertainment in October 2017. They are currently signed with other agencies.

The SMTown Concert in Suwon City is the first SMTown Live Concert after its staging in Seoul in 2017. Apart from SNSD, other popular SM Entertainment artists also headlined the concert including Super Junior, BoA, Kangta, TVXQ, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa as well as SHINee's Key and Minho, and EXO's Suho, Xiumin, Chen, D.O. and Kai.

Here are some of the fans' tweets:

A fan shared how she believed in the power of SNSD to make impossible things happen.

Here's the performance that made many SONEs (fandom name) cry.
