Yes, tinuod na.  That’s actually Biblical.  Luke 16:10 (NIV): “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” Naay pattern atong mga batasan; and we very seldom veer away from it.  Unless ang gipakita anang tawhana dili niya tinuod nga batasan.  Like someone just pretending to be trustworthy.  Mao nang importante ang research ug background check especially with people that would soon play important roles in your business or your life in general.
