The moon enters outgoing Sagittarius this morning, and most people are on the run bright and early. Traffic patterns will be odd, as the streets fill with people headed on whimsical and last-minute outings. Take advantage of the final hours of the sun’s stay in Virgo by using a block of time to do some serious thinking, list making and organizing.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Hanging around someone with an infectious manner will inspire you to incorporate new behaviors. Make up your mind about an on again, off again relationship, or soon, this person may no longer be available.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You’re focused on domestic organization but not sure how to best execute the task. Break every goal into tiny fragments – one action at a time. Students catch up on studies. Consider singing lessons to free your voice.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). When you mentally know what’s good for you but your body won’t seem to comply by moving in that direction, it may be time to take a nice, long nap. When was the last time you took a day to do absolutely nothing?

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Sure, you’d love to stay home all day, but you can do that anytime! Be adventurous – if not now, at least make plans to be adventurous later! You have luck when you decide to make a special trip or take a seminar out of town.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). There’s a circus around you but no circus master! Take the lead, and all the clowns fall in line. You’ll find plenty of reasons to laugh and enjoy yourself. Tonight, let a loved one talk endlessly about himself or herself.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). It’s your day to break the rules and defy established dogmas – not usually your modus operandi but so satisfying right about now! Synchronistic events may seem very hit or miss to you, but there’s a larger plan at work.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You’re expecting the things you want to happen. Be willing to compromise. Two heads are better than one on an interesting project and way better on a boring project. An attractive proposition is featured tonight.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Family members and all the drama they bring are featured. Sneak away for some time by yourself! It’s easy to get seduced by an illusion tonight. Resist! The truth will serve you much better.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: The planetary energies are shifting from Virgo, which is like a kindly coach, into Libra, which is like a motivated team. As this transition occurs, we rely less on our internal critic, who is always pushing us to improve, and start to rely more on each other. Wednesday marks the autumnal equinox, the entrance of the sun into Libra. The days and nights are of equal length, and harmonious balance is represented in nature and all living things. Individuals are judged on the company they keep. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and in the case of Libra energy, the apple doesn’t want to leave the tree at all. Why break up a good thing? The drive to be part of something is intense. Couples must be careful not to cross into co-dependent territory as they learn to give over their trust and share a bigger piece of their inner and outer world. On Friday, Jupiter, the planet of abundance, makes the leap into Libra as well. Discipline and critical thought get to rest a bit. Temperance and balance are the new guard taking over. Choose your company well, as you’ll probably be spending much more time together over the next four weeks than you originally intended.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Ruben Studdard, winner of "American Idol" season two, is a Virgo whose down-home, unpretentious style helped him make his way into the hearts of American music fans. Virgo people are extremely hard workers, so Studdard most likely takes the grueling "American Idol" tour schedule in stride. This year, Studdard could start a new clothing label, which will earn him even more money than music has.
