Horoscope

June 3, 2004

- Joyce Jillson -
The Sagittarius moon expands our hearts and minds to include the very thing we were closed off to before. There will be an adjustment period, though, while we struggle to restore normalcy without going back to our old ways. The Gemini solar rule helps this happen gracefully, as it’s easier to make light of our oddball mistakes and imperfections.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. You want people to respond now, telling you exactly where you stand and how the relationship will develop. Be cool! And more importantly, be patient. Relationships are a work in progress. Some people need more time to build trust.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
If it’s important, write it down. It’s not that you have a bad memory – it’s quite good actually – there’s just too much going on today to distract you from your main purpose. The circus seems to swirl around you this afternoon.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
At work, part of the puzzle is missing, but you can easily fill it in by involving others –people whose wisdom, knowledge and character you respect. Love is your main focus tonight.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
You’ll figure out clever ways to complete your agenda and practical techniques that help you leave work every day at a decent hour. Expose your talents to the people who can make something of them.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
The stars today remind us what it feels like to wonder, "Where did the time go?" Consider which activities you do because other people think they’re important. Aquarians are partners in fun – you could use more of that in your life.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (June 3).
You enjoy the beauty around you this year, and you’ll have plenty of it! Travel and new sights are featured in the next two months. A windfall could come from a real estate sale at the end of August. In September, romance is put to the test and comes out with fling colors. Taurus and Sagittarius are dynamite additions to your life. Your lucky numbers are: 8, 50, 28, 54 and 17.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Someone may be micromanaging you, and you’ve definitely had enough. Flex those muscles, and make it known that you’re stronger now. Dating should be simple. Then, why isn’t it? The traps make it more interesting, though!

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
When in doubt, just say "yes." Sure, it cuts you off from other possibilities, but sometimes, limitations can be more liberating than wide-open options. Besides, many prospects don’t help you as much as one good one will.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21)
. Reduce your obligations, and concentrate on your first and foremost one – to live a life that’s fulfilling to you. Yes, being of service is important but not at the expense of listening to your own heart.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
It’s an introverted day when you feel like you’re a kid among grown-ups. But you can still rely on your special way of making people feel warm and accepted. They won’t remember the conversation, but they’ll remember you.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
You’re a little cynical, but you can’t deny that part of you is longing to connect with your fellow human, with nature and with the flow that moves all things. Once you give in, the generosity you often deal out will be dealt to you.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
You’ll make some real headway with a personal goal. Good assignments and the big-money jobs come if you can take the pressure with a certain amount of grace. And if you’re not graceful, at least you’re hanging in there.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
You’ve taken a few key steps, and you’ll feel like patting yourself on the back, which you should. But when you look into the horizon and see how far you have to go, that’s disheartening. Dwell on how far you’ve come instead.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"My boyfriend and I have been breaking up and getting back together for one year now. The last time we broke up was because I caught him sleeping with somebody else. The thing is that I want more than anything to be able to work things out with him, but I don’t want to end up four years later regretting wasted time if things don’t work out. Any suggestions? He’s a Cancer, and I’m a Capricorn."

My suggestion is that you break up and stay broken up for at least nine months. For you, it will not be hard to break up, but it’s the staying broken up that will be difficult. For him, the breakup itself will be the most painful part, with this new rule in place – and do tell him about the nine-month rule. The reason I say nine months is because I see someone else coming into your life (a Scorpio or a Sagittarius), and I’d like for you to have time to explore the relationship fairly without interference from your sensitive Cancer. I’m concerned about your "wasted time" comment. If you are in a relationship that is always growing, the time is never wasted because you improve yourself and the relationship every day. But if you’re talking about your biological clock, I catch your drift.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
We loved him on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and comic Wayne Brady sparkles as the host of his own talk show this year. He’s also on tour throughout the summer with an improvisational variety show. Geminis are so spirited and chatty, it’s easy for them to hold an audience captivated. This year, Brady could have a lot success using his quirky humor to promote unconventional household items.
