The Taurus moon focuses our attention on the finer things in life. Venus in Scorpio could help you figure out what you really want, but you’ll have to convince yourself that you deserve it. If you don’t believe that, love will continue to elude you. Have faith, and if you can manage it, a little bit of optimism won’t hurt, either.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. You have stuck with a difficult task, and now, you get to see the brilliant results. Celebrate a job well done in whatever way tickles your fancy. Romantic relationships don’t have a definite label yet, but it’s OK.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Big purchases brighten up your living environment. You sniff out a bargain and have a great eye for design. Your spiritual landscape is changing. What you held as truth before seems to be less than perfect now.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
Home improvement is featured. Family members are happy to help you with the grunt work. The evening is sexy. Singles spring for a new outfit and look as great as they feel. Couples can’t keep their hands off each other.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Any time you devote to the arts is worthwhile. A Virgo helps with a moneymaking plan. Tonight, even if the invitation is secondhand, you owe it to yourself to attend. The people you want to spend time with are there.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
The finer things attract you. Stay within your budget, or you take the fun out of shopping. Evening outings delight all your senses. You’re outgoing and personable, and people respond to your natural charm.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (October 18).
You stake your claim to fame and recognition this year. People praise your artistic talents when you showcase them in the next three weeks. Your understanding of human nature takes you in a new career direction in November. Just when you thought your life couldn’t get fuller, love comes along with an Aquarius or Sagittarius in January. Your lucky numbers are: 52, 30, 5, 3 and 35.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Plan a getaway for later in the year. Something to look forward to puts you in a winning state of mind. Students get ideas for independent pursuits while doing required reading. It’s never too late to change your academic focus.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
Seek out sunshine at all costs. It can come from people or the heavens, but find ways to make your day bright. Outsiders put their 2 cents in concerning your romantic interests. Only do what you know in your heart is right.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21)
. Loved ones need convincing of a new path you’ve set for yourself. Keep in mind that they want the best for you, but your best and their best sometimes differ. Talk it through until everyone is on the same page.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Information comes your way concerning friends you’ve lost touch with. There’s no need to call them up again if the relationship is old news. Afternoon fun happens while you go about day-to-day tasks.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
You’ve got boundless positive energy – work on the projects you love. Clear away all distractions. Credentials help when it comes to your professional life. You soon find your dream home. A Taurus real estate agent helps.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
You thrive with the right brain food. A book or other piece of literature makes you more interesting. Watch for gracious moves – you’ll want to emulate later. Sometimes, social intelligence is more valuable than formal education.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
In this go-get-‘em day, the more you ask for, the more you are given. Close friends and family are working well with one another – finally. Spur-of-the-moment gatherings are pleasurable for all who attend.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"I was born Aug. 26, 1964, and am torn between two men. Which is more compatible with me – the one born Jan. 21, 1966, or the one born Dec. 8, 1959?"

The Aquarius has more compatible aspects with you, but to tell you the truth, I’m not crazy about your match with either of these individuals. (Neither are you, or you wouldn’t be asking me this question.) The reason you are torn is because part of you would like to go on dating both, as they fill different needs in your life but not very completely. Since it’s getting increasingly difficult to keep either person happy (each would like to take your relationship to the next level, and the more you pull back, the more interesting you become), you might consider breaking up with both of them and taking a vacation alone – maybe to Hawaii. Use your downtime to think about what it is you’d like to experience in your next relationship, and set some new standards for this area of your life. You are a serious person, and it’s hard to look at relationships as an opportunity for playfulness, but if you don’t, you’ll end up committing to the wrong person.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Rodeo champion Ty Murray has earned his share of glory on the saddle and has written all about it in a new book this year. Boyfriend of the beautiful chanteuse Jewel, Murray could shine in the arena of love this year. Things were on the rocks for a while, but their breakup earlier is mended now. Murray could rope in the lovely lady for keeps very soon. A November proposal will be most auspicious.
