September 20, 2003

Mercury goes direct, relieving some of the strain and confusion that is inherent when people repeatedly misunderstand one another. The channels are open and direct, so what you see is what you get. There have been some creative events recently that never would have happened if messages had been delivered as intended.

ARIES (March 21-April 19).
You’re admired, and it feels wonderful if you let it sink in – but there’s the hard part. Fulfilling domestic obligations, however small, keeps the peace. Let it be easy for a loved one to be more affectionate by resolving not to criticize.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
You can easily bring people to your way of thinking, but do not abuse this power! The "squeaky wheel" theory proves very true in a love relationship, so if you "need grease" you’d better speak up now.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
Leaders drop out – be able to run the show because if you don’t, nobody will. An industrious attitude gets you far. In love, you’ll start to see a pattern. Use valuable lessons of the past, or what good are they?

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Distractions are behind you, except for a few calls and letters. Connect with your passion, and make sure to spend a few hours producing something that means a lot to you. Love isn’t always easy, but you’ll work it out.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
In this lucky day, decisions favor you, but be careful not to gloat, or you’ll only be facing the same problem again next month. A friend gives more than you expected. Do-it-yourself projects bring out your creativity and confidence.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (September 20).
Hitch your wagon to the stars this year! They don’t disappoint, especially when it comes to love luck through the end of the month. October has glorious social engagements in store for you. In May, singles’ relationships with Pisces or Aquarius are more than just puppy love. Weddings in July are delightful. Invite as many as you can. Your lucky numbers are: 9, 43, 1, 13 and 17.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Sensitivities are high, so don’t be accusatory to loved ones, even as a joke. Something you’ve been expecting finally arrives, but it’s not all you thought it would be. Make a request up front – don’t wait, or it won’t be honored.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
Everyone has expectations, and life will be much easier if you just talk about yours. You’ll be much happier when you voice your concerns, needs and dreams – you deserve to have them addressed. Soldiers for a cause have luck.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
Reduce stress, and simplify your life. Keep out of family battles if you can manage it, especially regarding children’s custody. You’re truly moving on, and the only thing that could stop you would be to bring up old arguments.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
If you’re stuck, an influential friend has great ideas about helping you get out of the rut. Training or further education may be paid for by someone else, so don’t be too fast to lay out the cash yourself.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
There are some real gems among your ideas today, so write them all down, and don’t discount anything. As long as you resolve not to complain or explain, you’ll be very happy with what happens.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
You are the exception to many a rule, so don’t expect your story to follow the norm. Keep your standards high, and they will be met. You can count on one who’s been there for you in the past.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Continue working on your creative project, no matter how busy you are. It’s easy to get caught up in how other people see a problem, but resist with all your might. A Gemini or Aquarius wants you to join an adventure.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"I’ve been looking into a business to buy and found one! However, there are a lot of start-up costs and inventory that I don’t have the money to buy. Should I put those expenses on a credit card? I could get a co-signer and probably swing the monthly expense. I was born Dec. 3, 1980."

A small business loan would be better. If you can’t get one, then wait until you have the full cash amount and purchase the business then. Credit cards are dangerous for a person with your astrological chart. You are probably telling yourself that you will actually make money with the things you will buy, and therefore, they will pay for themselves. This could be true, but much more research must be done to know whether or not it is true. The best credit strategy for you may be not to have a card at all. Since you are focused on the future (as a forward-thinking Sagittarian), you can use your powers of creative visualization to see that item you can’t live without in your future and sock money away until that special day arrives when you can afford to pay cash. Take a course in how to budget, save and even invest – you are not too young!

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
James Gandolfini has become an iconic personality in the last few years due to his portrayal of villainous (and somehow still loveable) mob boss Tony Soprano. Gandolfini has been an actor of his adult life but never expected or wanted to be famous. Virgo pros get so much fulfillment from dedicating themselves to their craft that perks of fame and fortune are often considered extraneous.
