Horoscope

March 12, 2003

- Joyce Jillson -
Everything starts with the germ of an idea, but wishful thinking is just that. Take action! Uranus newly stationed in Pisces could give you that push off the diving board, but it’s up to you not to belly flop. The Cancer moon helps you remain flexible, and to some extent, you can even stretch time if you try. You can get a lot done in an afternoon.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. Since there’s almost no premise you can think of that’s not being made into a reality television show these days, that shining idea you have this afternoon is worth looking into. It’s at least worth a few laughs with friends over dinner.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
A talk with the boss about your future is advised, or the current situation could go on for months. Your ability to intuit others’ intentions helps you make the winning move in romance. You may have to make a difficult decision.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
You’ve got enough for two people, which is a good thing since your partner might be dragging. One note regarding your ability to motivate others, though – it’s better to match their attitude and slowly bring them up.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
If you don’t expect relationships to be perfect, you’ll take today’s twists and turns more gracefully. We’re all learning the intricacies of getting along. The tasks you’re responsible for can be done faster, cheaper and better.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
Shortcuts lead to unexpected obstacles. It’s better to follow the well-trodden path, just for today. When you take the time to learn how to do a task the traditional way, you earn the respect of mentors and also will have an easier time.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (March 12).
You finally get what you’ve been waiting for. All this month, you’ll be doing it your way and getting paid well for it, too! Next month features the courage to take on an adversary you never thought you could beat. By June, you’ve seen the last of this problem! You’ll be surprised with career turns in May. Spring is fabulous for your love life. Your lucky numbers are: 22, 51, 39, 11 and 33.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
It’s not necessarily comforting to know that you are the center of someone’s world. It’s a lot of responsibility, too! Listen carefully to the signals you’re getting, and respond quickly. Your job involves sudden changes.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
You know others don’t believe what you do, but it’s still disappointing not to get your way. Really sell your point today to make sure you’ve got enough support to push things through. A first date takes a pleasantly unexpected turn!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
Keep optimism alive and your vision true, even if others can’t see it. Too many people ant to be in charge – choose one leader. Relationships feel particularly challenging now with your finances committed elsewhere.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
You’re still not convinced you can take on your heart’s desire. Why dwell on fear or limitations? Other people believe in you, and you should take their lead. It’s not enough to think of a plan; you have to write it down, too!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
Someone dear is concerned with building each "now" moment to the hilt but is gun shy when it comes to making plans. Gentle acceptance brings this reticent love to the palm of your hand.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
Time gets eaten up n the stupidest ways if you’re not careful. At work, be more selective about with whom you will and won’t meet. It’s a groove with: Cancer, Virgo and Sagittarius. Romantic timing is stellar.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
It’s true that you start to take on the characteristics of those you see. Love tip: Find someone who already fits your qualifications. Otherwise, you wind up in a romance based on molding someone to fit your ideal – exhausting!

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"I’m a 46-year-old Scorpio male who dated a 47-year-old Capricorn female for two years until our recent breakup. Part of the reason for the breakup was my mother, with whom I have lived since my dad died I n1990. Mom didn’t like the girl, and my girlfriend would say I did too much for my mother, which was not the case. I was slow to make a commitment, and when I did finally tell my mom I was moving out, she was upset. My girlfriend showed no compassion, which I thought was a bad sing, so I didn’t move out. Then, my girlfriend took a trip to Vegas with another man. Do you think I was doomed from the beginning with her because she couldn’t stand the competition of my mother, or do you think she’s jealous because I am more handsome than others and people warm up to my personality faster than they do to hers?"

Even though there are very good reasons that you are living with your mom, a Capricorn woman would be the lasts to understand them. Capricorn women tend to go for the Alpha male, and somehow a man living in the same home as his mother doesn’t totally fit that description.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Pisces Bernadette Peters has created roles in major Broadway musicals, won Tonys, has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was the youngest performer inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame. Her next project (with Michael and Kirk Douglas) will have Oscar buzz, despite being a comedy. Peters’ secret could be Mercury in musical Aquarius – an aspect of joyful, effortless communication.
