With Mercury in the social hub of Aquarius, it’s easy to start the conversational ball rolling. The moon is void, messing with out motivational sense, so when someone sops by your hours or desk to talk, chances are the chat could go on for an hour. Great ideas are born out of casual discussion, and that should count for something!

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. New tasks are featured, for better or worse. The level of difficulty many are experiencing in taking on different responsibilities is not perhaps what was expected. If someone changes the deal, it’s up to you to speak up.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Beware of those who say they have your best interests in mind; they’ll sell you what you don’t need. You have more influence over family members than you think this afternoon. Be careful with your choice of words.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
Don’t bother shielding loved ones from the truth; everyone senses when things aren’t quite right. Any setback you encounter is ultimately an educational experience. Use the information to learn to be closer to those who matter.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
When you are shown the respect you deserve, it becomes easier to give others the respect they deserve. Though there might be a lot of judgment on behalf of newcomers to your work situation, the insiders aren’t so critical.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
Regarding the work and social plans you’ve got going: Ask yourself why you keep saying "yes" when you know you’re really not that excited about the proposed event. One cancellation will open your schedule up to something fantastic.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (February 13).
The goals you take seriously this year will improve your health, vitality and love relationships. But be sure to put them in writing and give them an important place in your life. This month and next show you using creative talent in practical ways. A Sagittarius or Leo will be a brilliant and supportive sweetheart. Singles marry in September. Your lucky numbers this year are: 5, 42, 10, 49 and 14.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
The unusual people in your midst are the ones who have the most to offer you. Forget about finding common grounds. Instead, listen to the story of someone who has taken the road less traveled.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
Clear up whatever debt you can, whether big or small. This includes repaying a favor (from someone who expects that) or turning in work you said you were going to do (but aren’t expected to do).

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
When you really think about it, you’re ahead of the game and could be challenged because of your position. Back up your opinions with solid data. Scattered energies could cause you to lose your way; take a map.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
You won’t let anything wait for tomorrow it if can be done today. And it can be done if you’re the one doing it. Compliments from co-workers boost your esteem, so listen up. Developments in finance favor you.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
Obstacles come in the form of other people’s opinions. But wait there: If ideas run I to opposition, it’s a lucky break! Plans work better for being raked over the critic’s coals. Leave the stagnant relationship you can’t change.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
Success comes from creating symbiotic relationships. Make it OK for someone to be wrong. A quiet smile gets you out of tight spots. This afternoon sizzles with heat from a fire-sign (Leo, Sagittarius or Aries) admirer.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Money comes in the mail! This may be it from this source, at least for a while, so pursue other sources of income. Family dynamics are complicated to those enmeshes in them but obvious to everybody on the outside.

STATE OF THE HEART (PART FIVE OF SIX):
Although Valentine’s Day usually prompts us to focus on our loved ones and honor them, or to make romance happen with the one we have chosen, the planets are coloring tomorrow in a new light. This can best be taken as a call to look at our hearts desires on an even deeper level – and that means many different things. Whatever your heart’s desire, it may seem far away from personal relationships, but in reality, becoming more fulfilled puts you in the position to better all aspects of your life, relationships included. SAGITTARIUS: Te problem has never been in attracting whatever it is you want. The problem is in being satisfied with it once you’ve got it. Celebrate every single victory, no matter how small, and you’ll start to understand and enjoy the power you’ve got to make life continually exciting. Aquarius and Aries are the V-Day sweeties for you. CAPRICORN: You are particularly strong in your convictions this year, knowing exactly who makes your heart sing and why. Just keep an open mind as you go after what you want. Leave room for the element of surprise. V-Day sweeties who bring out the best in you are Pisces and Taurus.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Well-known editor Helen Gurley Brown is a progressive Aquarian with her moon in Scorpio, the sign of steely determination, to say nothing of sensual fascinations. Under her leadership, Cosmopolitan magazine reflects her special brand of feminism that combines sexual (Scorpio) liberation (Aquarius) with an old-fashioned belief in forever-after-love.
