- Joyce Jillson -
Being good to yourself is the theme. Punishing yourself for being less than perfect won’t do anyone any good. Use the Libran energy overhead to be cooperative with your natural tendencies instead of fighting them. Don’t forget: Gentle change is change nonetheless. Look for reasons to give yourself credit.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. Someone you love may have messed up on something small, but he or she is there for you in the long run. A family member brings you a delightful surprise. A new friendship with an Aquarius or Leo is favored.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Success and happiness are achieved – but only with growing pains. You relish the challenges. Reconfirm dates; others could forget or be late. Snap decisions confuse children, so explain yourself wherever possible.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
A female associate offers excellent advice – take it! Your independent, rebellious attitude could crate trouble. Don’t forget the charm. Richness comes from giving of yourself – spend time on a charity event.

CANCER (June 22-July 22)
. Forget work, as relaxation now brings efficiency later. Be good to yourself, and others will follow suit. Exercise your brain as well as your body. Get ready for an unforeseen expense connected with hosting or friendship duties.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
You may find yourself attracted to someone who represents a challenge or has an air of mystery. Relationships that are going nowhere will soon be replaced. The unexpected is sure to happen – be prepared.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (October 26).
Terrific news sets this year off on a high note. Your income depends on your ability to follow through – don’t get distracted by petty things next month. Be open-minded in December. Someone who is troubled in one way or another can still be a friend who teaches you about succeeding. Lucky love signs are Pisces and Gemini. Your lucky numbers are: 2, 38, 45, 6 and 11.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Spend at least an hour in solitude – peace and quiet bring brilliant ideas. Look over your financial portfolio. Don’t give family members too much power. Keep personal plans a secret. They can be revealed at a later date.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
Stop trying to be all things to all people, and you’ll feel free. Honesty solves a current dilemma. Don’t be afraid to show that you’re vulnerable. A cancellation turns out to be a blessing, though you won’t know for several weeks.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
It’s not necessary to prove yourself or be bigger than life. The quiet strength of observation takes you much further. Listening and making others feel important brings the most satisfaction your way.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Inventiveness leads to recognition. The love interest in your life could be bewildered at these new aspects of your personality. Changing cycles with career and money offer happiness – don’t shy away.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
Your health is important now; give it care. Money issues feel pressing, and you are tempted to see the glass as half empty instead of half full. A good book or movie helps lighten your perspective.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
Energy tip: Running on sheer adrenaline will only hurt you in the long run. Though you have a natural gift with words, listening is more important. Flirtation could get you into trouble, especially with someone who wears a ring.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Rules for a perfect marriage or relationship are not etched in stone. Communicate with the one you love in order to find out what h e or she requires. Make your own views known in a calm tone. Children ask for new responsibility.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"Was I born on a bad day? Born with a bad sign, maybe? I’m depressed, and I’d love to blame the stars. What do you have to say to someone whose birthday is March 20, 1945?"

Your dry humor is a sign of intelligence, one of your gifts from the very stars you’d love to blame for your recent bout of negative feelings. But be assured, interesting possibilities are ahead for you. You get confused in the middle of projects sometimes, and you may have been disillusioned by relationships that you were too idealistic about. You yearn for "nice" things (with Venus in Taurus), but your dreams of wealth and comfort may turn out to be illusions when you get close enough to touch them. In fact, the life you live in your mind maybe so elaborate that real life has never measured up. It’s not your stars. The answer is to be more realistic in your approach to living. Like all Pisces, you need to feel the joy of helping others, being needed and furthering an ideal you believe in. This year will bring opportunities to establish a foundation for the future; remember that your inner self has needs beyond a yearly raise and job security.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Lately, we’ve heard more from Enrico than from his father, the king of Latin love songs, Julio Iglesias. The elder Iglesias will steal a bit of the spotlight from his son this year as he reminds the world that sex appeal has no age limits. I predict we will hear more from the Iglesias bloodline, as other children and later grandchildren join the family business. The biggest star of all will be an Iglesias woman!
