ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"I’m a Sagittarius born on Dec. 1, 1980. I had a bad accident while skiing last month. Could an astrologer have predicted this?"

Wow! Great question. First, it depends on the astrologer. Why? Because some astrologers feel that telling a client that they are "accident-prone" during a particular time will unfortunately become a self-fulfilling prophecy. They believe that this info would make you more nervous. However, the wiser might be for the astrologer to point out all the energies (positive and negative) for you to get a sense of what is going on cosmically. In short, Sagittarians and Aries are speed demons. They love action and live a roller-coaster ride of a life. But when the vibes are out of control, it is a good time to slow down a bit. I often see charts where an individual has had hardships, but the overall result is a major, very positive change in his or her life course. Sometimes, the universe gives us all a wake-up call. When people are under a strong Martian influences, as you were, it is a good time to become ambitious about a career or life goal. If you don’t have dreams, you might end up adventures.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Before there were supermodels, there were models. Taurus native Linda Evangelista was among the first wave to break the profession into the stratosphere. We’ll hear from her corner of the world this year when she teams up with other celebs to champion a charity whose income has dropped considerably since so much of the charitable dollar was redirected to more visible need in 2001: The events of Sept. 11.
