- Joyce Jillson -
Saturn and Venus encourage us to figure out what we want and recognize what we can no longer put up with. The Taurus moon provides a solid reminder that we can make our dreams come true with a little hard work. But without taking practical steps, the ideas floating around your head may slip through your fingers. Face the right direction.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. You have to stay on your toes; secrets may play a role in helping you do so, and you’re wise to scrutinize what you hear. Family members are on your side during hard times. Good things come out of a long discussion with a close friend.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
. Avoid hasty actions – "caution" is the word of the day. You don’t have to do everything yourself. A fun exercise routine will relieve stress. Traveling allows you to get a better perspective on your home life. You’ll appreciate what you have.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
. Energy comes in spurts, so pace yourself well. Don’t let a small problem fester into something bigger. Key people in your life who have been out of touch could pop up unexpectedly. You may have to collaborate with a competitor.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Learn to appreciate your mistakes. Make an efficient schedule for next week. You know where you stand in a relationship, but it’s a good idea to re-establish your feelings for him/her. A family excursion is more fun than you thought.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
. A call to a close relative shouldn’t be put off. You may have second thoughts about a new situation. If you spend money on your own growth and development, then you will see the rewards in both emotional and financial terms.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (July 29)
. It’s a year when you get respect and rewards. Unexpected money received this month reaffirms your talent! Singles attract new love when they travel for educational or job purposes in August. Avoid ultimatums of any kind in September. Remember this winter that you must make things happen for yourself. Your best sign for love is Libra. Your lucky numbers are: 3, 11, 39, 22 and 28.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
. A date with a new love interest (possibly a Taurus or Aries) has unexpected results. Don’t assume you know everything about this person; ask a lot of questions, and be delighted by the answers. Help out an old friend.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23)
. Suddenly you have more free time and energy. A relative’s streak of stubbornness can be changed with a little patience. In your coming bout of romance, know what you want, and pursue it step-by-step. Love requires risk-taking.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21)
. Telephone calls keep the romance alive. Your willingness to sacrifice will allow you to achieve more in no time. Take a chance on love with a Scorpio or Aries. Don’t tell too much too soon in a new relationship; mystery is alluring.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
You can move mountains with your imagination. Negotiations over money matters may be tough, but confronting them is worth your effort. Friends really put themselves on the line for you, so long as you return the favor.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
. Avoid falling into old habits of dishonesty with family members. A relative is key in propelling your love life forward. Ask friends to introduce you to the singles they know. Financial assistance may be held up, but only temporarily.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
. The work you put into a love relationship now will pay off later. "Look past your own mistakes" is the motto of the day. Do not rely on others to come through with plans, make your own and head out. You are confident and determined.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Take on more responsibilities, and you will magically feel less stressed. It’s a lucky day to research your personal background. This project may take longer than you think, so set aside twice the expected time. You’ll find interesting facts.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD:
When the curtain opens on the week, Saturn and Venus are the stars of the show, encouraging us to figure out what we want and recognize what we don’t want. Let the Taurus moon be a reminder that with a little hard work and a lot of imagination, all things are possible. Just don’t forget the hard work part. Tuesday, Venus and Pluto put the focus on creating greater intimacy between you and your romantic partner. It means not trying to impress those you lose so much, and allowing yourself to be a bit vulnerable, too. The Gemini moon keeps our curiosity going strong through Wednesday. If you want to experiment with your image, you’ll get your chance to try on a new costume. The more changes you make, the more you learn about your own strengths and weaknesses. Thursday sets Mars in direct motion, which is excellent news for the most ambitious souls among us. Anyone who has been in a slump will get the first signs of progress within a week. Friday brings a new moon in Cancer, adding to the momentum of what you’ve resolved to do. It’s much easier to convince someone to go along with you, no matter how things have turned out in the past. A clean slate is the new moon’s gift.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Ringo Starr could come into the public eye this year as he teams up with Paul McCartney for a charitable cause. Cancer is an extremely charitable sign, but is more likely to give gifts of talent than money. Starr showed his Cancer intuition early in life when he left his own band to play with the Beatles. Leo natives have a gift for communicating with the masses, but in his birth chart, Starr’s Mercury is retrograde (apparently traveling backward), a position which nurtures the attributes of a reluctant star.
