The moon in Taurus focuses everyone on using their assets and talents to the fullest. Industry captains will be open to innovations, inventions, alliances and new ways of doing business. Mergers, large and small, occur because of opening overtures made today. Personal financial maters can be positively clarified. Play fair at all times. Don’t cheat.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Love is grand, but you still need a heart-to-heart talk with your mate about finances. Also, someone close is either inconsiderate or unknowledgeable about your financial obligations. You have luck with games tonight.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Monitor your expenses, as something or someone is draining you in subtle ways. Success with a new artistic venture depends on how well you package the idea of product. You’ll have fun with your pals over a chatty dinner.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). By finishing long overdue work, you’ll increase your energy. A colleague will be leaving soon, giving you a chance for a promotion. Conflicts over children at home are a smoke screen for what is really wrong. You’ll gain profits from stocks.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). A little damage control does wonders. Apologies are accepted, and you come out of a mess with more respect and honor. Romance sizzles with an ex-boy/girlfriend or a former best friend. Check all accounts, because a bill is inflated.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Let people know that you won’t put up with difficult behavior any longer. Ask for favors this evening, and you’ll get a treasure-trove of help. Persistence pays off, and the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Rekindle romance with a Libra.
TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (May 21). Be well aware of your need for financial security this year, and you’ll start attaining it. A current job will shift into a whole new career by late August. New jobs will open up in real estate and banking industries. Romance heats up when you announce that you might move. Expect a proposal before November. An investment loss is recouped by 2002. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 11, 23, 46 and 51.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Take a generous approach to a family dilemma, and loved ones will no longer resist. Someone who OK’d a decision may not really have the authority. Avoid doing work on spec until you get a dated and signed contract.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). A shift in routine makes you more effective. Perform simple tasks, and focus only on the ones that can bring big money. By trying to please two people at once, you may end up neglecting yourself. Follow your instincts in terms of trust.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Someone is fabricating a story, and if you believe it, you could end up in trouble. Check all references. Money arrives for work done months ago. Let your mate know what your future plans are, and find out if he/she is serious.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Join forces with a partner, and a prospective business will immediately turn profitable. Be tactful when approaching a boss or client; your straightforward talk may hurt your chances of a promotion. Make allowances for travel delays.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You’ll hit the jackpot when you take on an immense challenge. Pushing yourself beings out your latent ingenuity and innovative style. Approach people who can fund your future projects. Someone in power takes a liking to you.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Little by little, a deal is coming together, so don’t lost faith. Set a realistic timetable, or you’ll doom an enterprise. Your romantic partner is impatient but will agree to your wishes. Make vacation plans soon, or a family member will be left out.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Keep financial accounts separate, as a mix-up could undermine your confidence. A business luncheon is the beginning of a sparkling new friendship. Join groups as you attract the spotlight now. Answer a confusing letter promptly.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I often receive psychic impressions about what’s happening or going to happen to a friend or loved one. This has been going on since I was 12, I’m 29 now. How can I pass this talent on to my daughter who’s an Aries?"
I’ll share with you some things my own mother did for me to open up my "third eye," considered the psychic center in the human being. We raised most of our foods, and so it was easy for my mother to share her respect and love of the soil and plants. Believing that God works through nature, she made sure I valued the food that I would pick for our meals. I was never allowed to eat anything where I didn’t replenish the soil or do something physically constructive to help our garden. In wintertime, we would start seedling plants on the window in the kitchen. Before we planted, we would plan where each crop would go and rotate them. We always left approximately one-seventh of the land dormant. This reverence for the land allowed me to "connect" on a visceral level to tiny plants, which encourage my early psychic impressions. Try to do something like this with your daughter.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Canadian wrestler Chris Benoit is one of the best in his field. Politics have kept him from matches that would lead him to be a top-rated contender. That may change in the next 12 months, as a new promoter will select him to headline a new team, and thus he’ll be placed in a position to win the title of world champion.
