Horoscope

May 07, 2001

- Joyce Jillson -
The full moon always brings out the wild side in us, but with Scorpio as the king of the underworld, expect things to get interesting. At the least, deep connections and sensual enchantment are featured under this transit. This astrological wave of sensuality is only augmented by the solar influence in Taurus. Social interactions will retain Scorpio’s intensity.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. A romantic potential will give you an inexpensive but beautiful gift. Your punctuality and dependability are your challenges this morning. If you can maintain a level of class when others crumble and fight, you’ll be commended.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
. You get to your goal faster when you apply your own standards, instead of going strictly by the company rules. Wherever you feel comfortable, you’ll be invited to return. Someone is watching you. Solve your own mysteries tonight.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
. Your hesitation to commit to someone is rooted in your deep subconscious. An old flame will come blazing back into your life. A jealous colleague could be withholding information. Be true to your own vision, and don’t follow the crowd.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
You’ll be tempted to rush into a relationship, but maintaining a cool pace will be more effective. Try to re-establish your priorities. Your single-minded approach works in business but not with relatives. Take time out for yourself.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
. Get out of the office, and see what you can accomplish. Your sudden popularity will bring confidence and new love. Your actions could permanently shape the attitudes of children tonight. Do what is right, not what is fun. Celebrate a small victory.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (May 7)
. You take the initiative to do whatever you want, which is why you’ll be the big moneymaker. This month is exceptionally lucky on the romantic front. By August, you could get engaged to a special individual. Your best signs for love are Gemini and Cancer. A sale at the end of the summer will allow you to make a big purchase. Your marriage months are July and October. Your lucky numbers are: 8, 33, 26, 9 and 14.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
. You’ll find a safe environment to pursue your artistic and creative goals. Indulge children’s imaginations with your own works of art. You’ll link business with marriage this afternoon. Friends you seldom see will make your evening sparkle.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23)
. You can be as disciplined about personal goals as you are about work if you build some accountability into your plan. Mysterious experiences will underscore your faith. By the end of the night, you won’t believe your eyes!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21)
. Incomplete projects make you nervous. Set deadlines and stick to them. Teens could come to live with you, so welcome them with open arms. Visualize your powers and prioritize your schedule. Eat greens to improve digestion.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
You’ll learn by making mistakes. If you don’t take a chance, you will stop growing, mentally and emotionally. Write down your future plans – organization is inspirational. If you need support, be the support for someone else first.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
. Dissatisfaction will prompt change and growth. Worries that are a result from an awkward family situation are invalid, so focus your attention elsewhere. You’ll find wonderful deals when you shop. Children may be unreasonable.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
. You’re as diplomatic as anyone could expect you to be. You could tune in and then make a conscious decision to stay out of uncomfortable circles. Sweethearts will know each others’ wants and needs without saying much.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
If you’re confused about what’s expected of you, stay put and observe your surroundings. Making eye contact and using body language will provide the best results for communication, because words are unreliable.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"I’m a Scorpio born on Nov. 18, 1975, who would like get back with my old boyfriend who was born on Nov. 3, 1975, but I’m also attracted to someone born on Nov. 18, 1973. Is there a pattern developing here?"

Loving the honesty that other Scorpios can bring to a relationship is not such a rare pattern. In fact, I’m willing to bet that on a sexual level you are only completely comfortable with Scorpios like yourself! Your moon in Taurus opposite your sun may help this. Scorpios help stabilize the contradictions in your highly mysterious and power-oriented nature. You’re stronger and more complex than most of those around you. Another powerful personality equalizes the inner pressure of the strong urges within you. Your first boyfriend (Scorpio with moon in Scorpio) comforts you. His nature is a little more integrated, centered and peaceful at this point in your lives than yours is, but only because you have more inner turmoil to handle. In a few years, you’ll be centered and integrated, too! Your new love interest shares your moon, Mercury, Venus and Pluto signs. The Scorpio sun/Taurus moon combo is unpredictable in relationship matters, but I’d certainly recommend that you give this relationship a chance. By June, you’ll learn that he understands you as few others ever could.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Chazz Palminteri is a Taurus who knows that a smart way to make big money is to use his astrological gift: a golden throat. The bull can emote through the vocal cords in ways unique to his/her sign, and often will profit through singing, speaking, making sales pitches, or in Palminteri’s case, doing voice-overs. As well as being a memorable presence on-screen, he can be heard in such classics as "Stuart Little" and "Lady and the Tramp II." Look for Palminteri’s voice in upcoming cartoons!
