ARIES (March 21-April 19). Your ideas are nothing short of genius. A full-on approach to love attracts more than one eager date. If you’re part of a couple, your sensitive sweetie feels neglected. Find a better balance between your job, friends and career.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You can boost your own success, so stop looking for others who can do it for you. Be attentive. Merely listening can help to heal someone you love. A romance on the side is too risky for you. Play it safe until you are ready.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). A hunch is lucky. Keep your eyes peeled, a windfall could come through a social group. A Cancer or Capricorn love requires the very attention that you should be turning inward. Be observant of others’ actions.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Anxiety dissipates when you are more confident in a love relationship. Calm and relaxed are your most powerful modes. Your style is imitated, much to your amusement. Money arrives just in time for something you want to do.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). A friend’s ex should be out of bounds to you; forget it. Find more ways to save money and invest wisely. Take your time with decisions; don’t make an offer unless you’re sure. Evening plans change for the better.
TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (October 29). This birthday may as well be called a re-birthday, because this year represents a whole new life for you! For the next three weeks, you make changes and restructure your priorities. A desire to redecorate or redesign could be strong, but it would be better to wait until November or December, when more money is available. Artists find the perfect showcase. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 7, 40, 46 and 53.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Luck comes because you are willing to wait. You receive an apology, or a plea for one more try. You receive a message that has layered meanings. You meet someone very attractive while shopping or taking a walk.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Support is needed in areas of your life that are currently being ignored. Reorganize priorities; put love/romance higher on the list. Phone calls and appointments get in the way of a responsibility. A rarely used ability comes to the fore.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Schedule time for a major rejuvenation, even if you think you are being frivolous. Before you throw out the old to make room for the new, think carefully about what or whom you might miss later. Charity could lead to employment.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Simplify one situation and the positive results will spread throughout all departments of your life. Where one thing ends, another also begins. A last-minute change of plans could throw you and someone special together.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Forgive and forget is the best policy with someone you see on a day-to-day basis. An impromptu meeting of the minds could accomplish more than a formal discussion. Don’t trust a messenger – carry the message yourself.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). The success of a company or group depends on putting your personal concerns aside from the time being. A financial risk is not worth the worry. You play a detective tonight. Mutual agreements work if compromises are equal.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Travel has romantic benefits – look your best, even if you are going alone. Strike a happy medium between emotionalism and detachment. Share your knowledge – you could even be paid top dollar.
FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: The Scorpio sun continues to draw us closer to what interests us, but we’d rather flirt with what we want than ask for it directly. The dance of love has value beyond the sheer enjoyment of doing it – getting to know people in a variety of circumstances draw out their true nature more effectively than cutting to the quick with direct questions and appeals for a serious commitment. A conjunction of the sun and Mercury in Scorpio on Sunday night and Monday morning will preach that it’s not enough to pretend, it’s time to be. Stop "trying." Stop striving to live the way you want to live, and certainly stop complaining that you’re not there yet. The only thing that will get you there is to simply do as you say. Halloween night on Tuesday features the Sagittarius moon and a chance to show off outrageous styles. An early Wednesday start may cut the Halloween fun short of its promise. Start the evening early and gauge your time. On Friday, Mars, the warrior, enters Libra, the sign of peace. The message of this transit is that you’ll need to align with the greater good to accomplish your more ambitious aims.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Scorpio cutie Goldie Hawn could do a movie with her now-famous actress daughter Kate Hudson this year when maternal instincts are featured in her chart to be extremely auspicious. Like all Scorpios, superstars like Hawn are very private, though their bubbly personas make them appear to be an open book! Scorpio is also very protective, which could save Hudson from having to deal with the same trials and tribulations as other young actresses do.
