Reiki: Heal ye, heal ye

A woman with cancer of the uterus is healed in three weeks. A man with a thumb-sized kidney stone expelled it after a month. And a woman with a tumor the size of a golf ball got cured in three months. All underwent Reiki divine energy healing with Reiki master Jo Bilasano.

Reiki is a Japanese term for universal or divine energy. Reiki healing is an ancient and simple healing system of "laying of the hands" that originated in Tibet. Some writings about Christ revealed that He attuned to this energy.

Reiki was discovered and developed by Dr. Mikao Usui in March 1922. As an energy healing modality, Reiki has many benefits. Among these are: It heals the cause and eliminates the effect of energy imbalance, which we call disease; it relieves the stresses of daily life, balances the inner system, and heals all levels of human existence – physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual imbalance. Reiki does not interfere with a person’s medical treatment. It complements and enhances medication and quickens healing time. It is completely safe. Reiki is popular in Japan, the United States, Russia and other European countries, and in Australia. Reiki healing is now practiced in hospitals in the US.

Dr. Usui initiated or attuned many people to become Reiki practitioners. Two leading Reiki practitioners in the Philippines today belong to this lineage. Maria Joceline "Jo" Bilasano, a well-known healer, who’s now famous in Russia, is a Reiki master, Level III. Dr. Rhama Hassim is a tall and pretty medical doctor who studied and trained in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. She is a newly-designated medical officer in the United Nation’s Medical Mission in Sudan. Dr. Hassim is Reiki master Jo’s student in energy healing.

Jo Bilasano is a born psychic. She has had some impressive cures using Reiki. Her very first case of distant healing using Reiki was that of a woman in her mid-30s who had cancer of the uterus and was due for operation in three weeks. On the day scheduled for the operation, her doctors were amazed when they examined her because they could no longer find any abnormal growth.

"I’ve had a lot of clients who were helped by Reiki in dissolving their myoma, tumors in all parts of the body, especially in the breast, and lymphatic areas. Reiki also dissolves kidney stones and gallstones," Jo reveals.

Asked how long it takes for Reiki energy to take effect and bring about healing, Jo says that it takes a minimum of three minutes’ hands-on Reiki healing for the energy to take effect. "That’s the shortest hands-on on any part of the body. We have a short treatment that is equivalent to seven minutes and we also have hands-on front and back treatment of the body for 30-45 minutes. Through distance healing, it takes only seconds for the Reiki to take effect. Say, for example, somebody texted that she has a headache and the moment we reply and we send immediately Reiki energy, when the texter replies back, she already experienced relief from either headache or stomach upset. That’s how fast we do distant healing."

Jo points out that there are cases when the patient’s soul is not yet ready for healing due to karma.

Dr. Rhama Hassim used Reiki in connection with her medical practice in Saudi Arabia and during her stint as a UN volunteer in Eritrea, Africa. On her very first day in Eritrea, Dr. Hassim applied Reiki to lower the pressure of a very scoliotic (hunchbacked) patient. She also cured a patient who was limping due to an imbalance of his sacral bones, by using a combination of Reiki, the Dorn Method of spinal manipulation, and her medical knowledge.

Dr. Hassim is now a graduate of Jo Bilasano’s Academy of Wholistic Healing Arts Inc., which teaches people how to use Reiki to cure their ailments. The Academy’s mission is to develop the inherent healing gift of every Filipino and promote world healing by healing every client it serves.

In addition to Reiki, the Academy also uses other healing modalities like Hiyang, the Filipino healing system, which includes psychic surgery, spiritual healing, tawas, hilot or nerve and bone alignment, herbalism, and aromatherapy. It also practices the Dorn Method of Spinal Manipulation and the Breuss Spine Massage Method.

The Academy holds Reiki classes Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday, from 1 to 7 p.m. There are no classes on Thursday because that’s when the healers heal each other and energize by visiting sacred places to refresh their auric fields. Sundays are spent at the Parañaque Center and visiting housebound cases like the paralyzed and the disabled.
