At 4 p.m. yesterday, the center of tropical storm “Pablo” was estimated at 50 kms north-northeast of Borongan, Eastern Samar with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is forecast to move northwest at 17 kph.
“Pablo” is expected to be in the vicinity of Alabat, Quezon or at 80 kms northwest of Pili, Camarines Sur this afternoon.
Eastern Visayas, Albay, Masbate (including Ticao Island), Catanduanes and Sorsogon (including Burias Island) will have stormy weather, while central Visayas and the rest of southern Luzon will have rains and gusty winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
Central Luzon and the rest of the Visayas will be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Coastal waters in the rest of southern Luzon and the Visayas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, seas will be slight to moderate, except during thunderstorms.
