At 2 p.m. yesterday, tropical depression “Gener” was estimated at 360 kms west-northwest of Coron, northern Palawan with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move west-northwest at 15 kph.
Central and Southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao will be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, becoming widespread rains over Palawan.
The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Coastal waters in Western Visayas and Palawan will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, seas will be slight to moderate, except during thunderstorms.
