At 2 p.m. today, a low pressure area was estimated based on satellite and surface and surface data at 480 kms west southwest of Iba, Zam­bales.

Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas and Minda­nao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain­showers and thunderstorms becoming widespread rains over the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas including Palawan.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the southwest over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Minda­nao with moderate to rough seas.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the northeast to northwest with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorms.
